"Hey Dennis! Just saying hi and letting you know I'm still kick'n out the jams to you guys! I picked up my bass again recently and have had some fun attempting some mc5 songs!"
"Dear Dennis: I have always loved and appreciated your drumming so much. I always think of you in a window of Buddy Rich, not only because of your sonic styles, but the ability to always acheive that on smaller size drum kits. You are not only one of the Greats of the fine Michigan music explosion you are a member of , but the best of all time. Sincerly, Mark Reaume."
Dear Machine Gun: I cant thank you enough for hooking me up with the video clips at so early a time this morning. I am enjoying this so very much and it is so great to hear such truly fine rock&roll. It is so uplifting and spiritual to my soul . Dennis I have been viewing all of your facebook pages and I am trying real hard to find a place that indicates Machine Gun Thompson Products or Items that are for sale and cant seem to have any luck. Which way do I go to do so? I will be trying to hook up with any Fan Club and newsletter info as well. Thanks for all of your years of work!!! I am a huge fan and BROTHER!! Sincerly, Mark Reaume
No other band is more closely associated with the 1960s hippie, free love, abundant drug, activism movement than Detroit's MC5. The hard rocking five-piece band poured body and soul into formenting a social-psychoactive revolution that they hoped would reshape the buttoned down, conventional landscape of contemporary American culture. The MC5 was founded on the notion that rules are to be broken and they became the very embodiment of no-holds-barred rock and roll.

THE MOTOR CITY FIVE
Each MC5 record showed a chronological maturity based on growth from our first records to the next one. We went through so many experiences from the bizarre to the sublime. The 5 encountered the dangers of being so politically and musically honest & forthright. Changes we were uncontrollably thrown into, so we morphed like butterflies to survive! We rolled with the haymakers...MGT
