NEW FAN PHOTOS OF DKT/MC5 TOUR 2004

Mike Davis, MGT, Wayne Kramer and Deniz Tek
Deniz Tek is the most ferocious and propulsive rhythm (or lead) guitar players I've ever had the honor to play with. Out of all the guitar players I have played with in my long career. Deniz was the toughest one for me to keep up with. His playing was so precise and pristine clean. I rank him up there with the very best rock n roll guitar players of all time. And let me tell you his lead guitar solos blistered the air and the audiences!
I consider Deniz Tek one of my closest personal friends. The New Race tour in Australia with Deniz and Ron Asheton was one of the best tours I have ever done! I had a blast with those guys and love them both. (RIP Ronnie)
Denis Tek would have made Fred Smith extremely proud to have Deniz fill his spot on stage.
Read Deniz'a story about the tour HERE Deniz talks about our 2004 tour and has great photos from his personal collection too. Thanks Deniz! MGT

Does anyone REALLY question the "Machine Gun" title belonging to anoyone either than you?
"YOU KICK ASS DUDE!!! Nobody's got a gig goin' on like you do! Keep givin' us more Dennis!!!"
Machine Gun,
Just wanted to know what version of I Believe to My Soul the MC5 were listening to before you decided to own it and make ALL other versions sound weak in comparison.
I just heard Ted Taylor's version of Ramblin Rose and it was a revelation.
Thanks,

"Man that WAS the most awesome gig in Sydders when they played up here. Mark Arm was on FIRE!"
MGT,
Thanks for the response. I just want to let you know that the MC5 has been a constant inspiration in my life since the first time I heard High Time when I was 18 years old. Skunk & Black To Comm (live Power Trip CD version) in particular are two of the greatest recording of all time. The MC5 are very potent medicine.
It's an honor to have corresponded with you.
Best drummer ever and probably the reason more drummers get the boot from bands...what a measuring stick. Saw him here in Australia 2004, revitalized me like you would not believe and l am a sloppy guitar player...Cheers Dennis"
