..as I expect you get a ton of mail. But, having just read you're blog, I wanted to thank YOU. For not only being one of the biggest influences on me as a drummer for my whole life (born in '72) but as of recently, being as appreciative of your fans and knowing that you listen. I know it's not hard to hear 'em! When I read your words, I hear the voice of a true gentleman and Rock and Roll scholar.
I will be playing the rest of my life, no doubt about that. Only now I aspire to maintain the composure and wisdom you have, through wherever this kit brings me.
Thank you.

A belated happy birthday to you Dennis. My friend Bill Leist turned me onto, well a lot of things, but years ago he turned me onto the MC5 and recently he turned me on to the video of the 5 at Tartar Field- July 1970.

Man u were going thru ...those drum sticks like crazy. Everybody in the band was rockin!!!

There is nothing I have seen as powerful or more rockin or more the essence of rock n roll. After seeing that I am ready to Testify.

Thanks !!!!

Hello Dennis, I was a ticket taker at the ballroom, (top of the stairs with Dick Beaufait), had the distinct pleasure of hearing to you guys so very many times. I remember traveling to the England in the summer of 70, the London newspaper I picked up was "MC5 INVADES the UK". Made me feel good being from Detroit. Thank you, Greg (Gardo)

Subject: Gratitude
Thank you very much for adding me. Your Music is very special to me. From the Five to Ron's New Order & New Race. Thanks for the music. I also gain great pleasure out of hearing you speak out so boldly and truthfully with out giving a fuck about what an interviewer or anyone else may think. Setting the record straight for truths sake. Thank you. Michael
